Joy and Sean

Once a year, Taylor and I wonder into Joy's office with a million questions about health insurance. With a smile on her face, she answers our questions despite the fact that we asked the same question the year before. When she contacted us about wedding photography, we jumped at the opportunity to use our talents to bless her. We were able to sneak in a quick engagement session. In a week, we will be shooting her wedding. We can't wait!

Jenn and Ron Engagment

At the beginning of June, Taylor had the opportunity to have a quick engagement session with Jenn and Ron. Jenn was an RD with Taylor for two years. She now resides in Seattle, WA.....we are jealous. Fortunately for us, Jenn fell in love with a man from Beaver County, PA.
I was unable to attend this photo shoot, but Taylor returned home with a renewed passion for taking pictures. Taylor said that he had trouble getting Ron not to smile. I think the pictures capture a glimpse of how much fun these two are.

We had just as much fun shooting there wedding in July. Stay tuned for those pictures.

Ben and Allyson

Ben and Allyson are another great couple from Geneva. Both of them have been involved in Student Life at some point and it's been a lot of fun getting to know them. For their engagement shots, we went down around Sewickley, which is where Joanna works. It was a beautiful day and we had a blast. Thanks Ben and Allyson...can't wait for your wedding.

Ben was trying to tell us that he wasn't photogenic, but obviously that's not the case.

Allyson was in the wedding that Joanna and I did this past weekend (Pictures to come soon) and it was fun to get a sneak peek at what it will be like on their special day.

Joanna snagged this great shot above. It has been a favorite and is even Allyson's current Facebook Profile Pic :)

Jeremiah and Emily

Jeremiah and Emily are two student leaders at Geneva. We were excited for the opportunity to take some engagement photos for them. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

In addition, we were joined by a second shooter, our cousin Wes. Check out some of his photos.

Rhys and Hannah

Rhys had come to me even before he had purchased the ring. Because of my favorite marketing tool...facebook...he had seen some other engagement photos I had done and wanted to know if I could do his. I told him I would love to once he made the magic happen. Some time and savings later he did just that. He and Hannah are both students from Geneva College. Rhys just graduated in Dec. and took a youth pastor job down in Tennessee, and after their August wedding will be taking his new wife along for the journey.

For the engagement session, they both decided to brave the cold, and I hope they feel like the like the results were worth it. I think Hannah called it "the coldest day of her life" :) They were troopers as we would hop out of the car...take 5-10 shots... and quickly jump back in, with the heater on full blast.
We just happened upon this tree! I think it's just some sweet validation.

Not bad for a college kid.

Thanks Rhys and Hannah for letting your toes and fingers freeze while smiling the whole time. May your life together be a blessed one!
